Summer Camps Update and Plans Moving Forward Due to COVID-19

How to prepare for our Recreational and Competitive Summer Camps!

Location and Directions

Schedule Overview

Please review the above measures we are taking in response to COVID-19!  Half Day camp is from 9:00am-1:00pm, and Full Day camp is from 9:00am-5:00pm.  Both Half Day and Full Day sessions for the entire week are located at 161 Arizona Avenue NE, Atlanta, GA 30307.  Please review our Recreational camp schedule and curriculum and review our Academy/Select camp schedule and curriculum. Extended Care

Extended care is available from 7:30-9:00 am and any family needing extended care after 1:00 pm must contact us directly to be considered.  Extended care is $20 per session and will need to be arranged each day the camper requires the care.  Your account balance will reflect how many extended care days are arranged, and payment in full must be made before the last day of camp concludes. Please contact us with any additional needs you have, and we’ll evaluate on a case by case basis.



Drop Off and Pick Up

Please review the above measures we are taking in response to COVIS-19! Updates for Drop Off and Pick Up will be communicated to registered players for camp and not follow the below instructions.

Please arrive at 161 Arizona Avenue NE, Atlanta, GA 30307 no later than 8:30 am on the first day of camp (Monday).  All subsequent days, players can arrive by 9:00 am.  Please pick up your child at 161 Arizona Avenue NE, Atlanta, GA 30307 by 1:00 pm if they are half day campers, and by 5:00 pm if they are full day campers.


Where to go on Day 1: Please look over our player assignment and age group location sheets that will be emailed to all participants two weeks prior to camp, so you know exactly where to go on Day 1 with your camper. All campers will be checked in by their designated Staff Coaches. If you need help finding where to go after reading over your camp email, please reach out to us. We will not have centralized tables this year for mass check-in, but will have each age group check in with their specific staff at their designated area.

What do we do at check-in, and what is the process? After finding your camper's Staff Coaches, please wait to be checked in. All campers' belongings for the day will be kept underneath his/her age group's tent, so place neatly on the ground. Our Staff Coaches will ask your first and last name, if your camper has any medical needs that they should be aware of, and provide the camper with their camp shirt. We encourage all the campers to wear their shirt to each day of camp. After the camper is fully checked in, parents are allowed to leave.


Lunch

Lunch is not included in camp registration but lunch time is provided each day.  Campers must bring a lunch to camp every day.  Refrigeration is not available, so please plan on bringing a lunchbox if your food requires it.


Cancellations and Refunds

Refund cancellation requests must be made 30 days prior to camp start date.  Refund requests with less than 30 days notice will not be granted.  If any camps are cancelled due to COVID-19, full refunds (minus processing fees) will be issued. 


Camper Medical History and Release

As you registered for camp, you were asked to fill out a Camper Medical History and Release form.  This form must be filled out for each camper before they attend camp. If you have not yet completed, click the link here to fill out the form online, or download it and bring it to camp on the first day.

What to bring to camp?
Every camper needs to bring a soccer ball, shin guards, athletic clothes or cleats, water bottle, snack, and lunch to camp EVERY day, plus any medical equipment (epi pens, inhalers, etc). Hats, watches, and sunglasses are allowed, but Staff maintain the right to ask any camper to remove if they deem unsafe. Jewelry is not allowed. Make sure to bring plenty of sunscreen! 

What activities are offered from 1-5pm for Full Day Campers of Recreational Camps? Please look over our Full Day (1-5pm) schedule here, and reach out with any questions. If your camper would like to engage in soccer related activities for the entire day during our Recreational Camps, you must reach out to us prior to the first day of camp. 

Where do we pick up our camper? Can someone else pick up my camper? All parents are required to park in our parking lot or on Arizona Avenue, and walk to the Clubhouse Pavilion area BEFORE picking up any camper. No parent will be allowed to hail their children from their vehicle to be picked up.  Nor will any side gates be open for easy access to the facility.  All parents must enter and exit from the main gate and you will be directed by our Camp Coordinator, as to where your child is located, before checking out. All parents MUST check back out with our Camp Coordinator BEFORE leaving the facility. There will be someone watching and securing the main gate to remind you.

You are allowed to give permission to others to drop off or pick up your child, but prior notice MUST be given, or we can not allow the child to leave with the adult.  Please contact us to let us know who to expect for drop off or pick up. 

What about inclement weather and cancellation of camp?  Because our fields are artificial turf, camp will continue on in the midst of rain.  If there is any thunder or lightning, Staff will immediately remove everyone from the field to our Safe Shelter. Please review our Emergency Action Plan for Arizona Avenue here.  Camp will only be cancelled due to extreme and prolonged weather, and all parents will be notified via email. If any camps are cancelled due to COVID-19, full refunds (minus processing fees) will be issued.
