FINANCIAL AID

Overview

Inter Atlanta FC (IAFC) is proud to offer a financial aid program for athletes who need financial assistance to play soccer with IAFC. This program is available to players in all programs: Recreational, Junior Blues, Club, Academy, and Select.  Families are encouraged to apply for financial aid if assistance is needed. 

Eligibility

• Financial aid varies based on need-based eligibility and available financial aid funds.

• Families with total household income exceeding $80,000 will generally not qualify.

• A tax return or supporting documentation must be submitted for the joint household or all caregivers.
• To find your 1040 tax return, log in to your tax preparation software (e.g., TurboTax, H&R Block) or use the IRS "Get Transcript" tool online to immediately download a transcript, which acts as a record of your return.

• Receipt of a financial aid application does not guarantee that the participant will receive financial assistance.

Award Packages

Financial aid packages include:

• A discount on player registration fees for the following programs:
• Rec, Academy, Select, Spring Friendly season, Summer League
• One Summer Camp (if you are applying for financial aid exclusively for summer camps, you may be eligible to receive a discount on multiple camps).
• A free uniform package.
• Travel assistance for players on teams that travel out of the metro Atlanta area for games or tournaments.

Payment Plans Available - No Application Required

IAFC offers payment plan options for Junior Blues, Academy, Select, and Club programs.  Payment plans allow families to divide registration fees into multiple payments throughout the season, which may help reduce the need for additional financial assistance.  Available payment plan options will be presented during the registration checkout process in PlayMetrics.

How to Apply for Financial Aid:

To apply for financial aid, please complete the steps below through your IAFC PlayMetrics account.

1. Log in to your IAFC account in PlayMetrics
2. Select CLUB PROGRAMS from the main menu
3. Click on the "Financial Aid" tab
4. Select "Request Financial Aid"
5. Complete and submit the application, including all required supporting financial documents, by May 29, 2026

Incomplete applications or applications submitted without supporting documentation may not be considered.

After you apply:

Financial aid decisions, including approval status and award amount (if applicable), will be communicated through PlayMetrics email in 2-3 weeks following your application submission.

• All approved families will receive additional details related to registration and payment during the summer.
