FINANCIAL AID

Overview


Inter Atlanta FC (IAFC) is proud to offer a financial aid program for athletes who need financial assistance to play soccer with IAFC. This program is available to players in all programs: recreational, junior blues, club, academy, and select. We are the ONLY Atlanta youth soccer club (other than Atlanta United) that offers a comprehensive financial aid program that is not limited and includes registration/tournament fees, travel and uniforms.


Eligibility

Families are encouraged to apply for financial aid if assistance is needed. Awards are made based upon many factors including documented need and resources available.

Should an applicant be awarded financial aid, Inter Atlanta includes the cost of the uniforms, travel, hotel lodging and tournament fees in the award calculation.

Our Club uses PlayMetrics as an all-in-one Club Operating, Registration, Payment, Communication

and Scheduling system.  If you are new to the club, you must create an account to apply for financial aid.

Award Method and Application Process


Recreation
(1) Complete the application either online or by downloading and submitting along with supporting financial documents no later than July 15, 2022 (fall season) or no later than January 15, 2023 (spring season).

Applications -- see above

(2) Submit all supporting documents (a copy of your pay stub and Federal Income Tax Return 1040 or 1040EZ).

Supporting documents can be submitted in the following ways:

a. Dropped off or mailed to: Inter Atlanta FC, 161 Arizona Avenue, Atlanta, GA 30307
b. Emailed to  mdenlinger@interatlantafc.com
c. Uploaded to online application

(3) Submit your completed application and supporting documents no later than July 15, 2022 (upcoming fall season) or no later than January 15, 2023 (spring season).

(4) Check email for award information a few weeks after application and supporting documents are received.

(5) Award information will be communicated to all families that submit a financial aid application, along with further registration details and instructions.

*Award amounts will only apply for the fall season. Players wishing to register for the next season (when registration is open) must fill out the application again and submit all supporting documents.

Academy and Select
(1) Complete the application either online or by downloading and submit along with supporting financial documents no later than May 22, 2022.

(2) Submit all supporting documents (a copy of your pay stub and Federal Income Tax Return 1040 or 1040EZ). Supporting documents can be submitted in the following ways:

c. Uploaded to online application

(4) Check email for award information if application and supporting documents were submitted by May 22, 2022.

(5) Award information will be communicated to all families that submit a financial aid application, along with registration details and instructions if a roster spot is offered to your child after tryouts.

The Inter Atlanta Financial Aid Fund provides financial assistance to our soccer athletes within the Recreation, Academy, and Select programs.


The average cost to fund one player for a full season is $1,500, but any donation amount is appreciated and will contribute to our goal of raising $50k.
