Select Program Overview
The Select Program offers an opportunity for older youth players (ages U13 to U19) to play soccer at a more challenging and competitive level, while still emphasizing learning, growth, and fun. IAFC Select players are expected to give a greater commitment of time, energy, and focus to their teams. Select teams are formed once per year, with tryouts occurring in late May and early June. Players are assigned to teams based upon their individual skill levels and team needs.
For the 2026-2027 season:
- Boys U13–U19 MLS NEXT players must commit to a year-round season (Fall and Spring).
- Boys Select teams compete in MLS NEXT Homegrown, MLS NEXT Academy, National Academy League (NAL), and Southern Clubs Champions League (SCCL).
- Boys teams (U15–U19) in MLS NEXT New Tier, NAL, and SCCL will compete in a Fall Season only.
- Girls Select teams compete in GA Aspire, Development Player League (DPL), and Southern Clubs Champions League (SCCL).
- Girls teams (U15–U19) in GA Aspire, DPL, and SCCL will compete in a Fall Season only.
Quick Facts:
- Offered to boys and girls U13-U19. Fall and Spring season (Aug - May; team placement offers go out in June)
- Teams participate in MLS Next Homegrown, GA Aspire, MLS Next Academy, DPL, NAL, & SCCL
- Players are selected through a tryout process which takes place at the end of the season.
- Teams are led by professionally licensed coaches
- Practice two/four times per week with games on the weekend
- Attend approximately four tournaments per year, two in Fall season and two in spring season

Our Select uniform kits are ordered, fulfilled and customer supported by Soccer.com. Please click below to view ordering instructions.
- All 13U-19U players need to order a uniform kit.
- Jersey numbers are preassigned for each player to avoid duplicates.
- Uniforms are for two years (25/26 & 26/27)

Club Fees Overview
The club fees outlined below cover the core costs associated with participation in Inter Atlanta FC’s competitive programs. These fees are designed to support team operations, coaching, league participation, and facility usage throughout the season.
Included in club fees:
- Coaching and staff support
- Coach travel expenses (guaranteed events)
- Event and league registration fees (guaranteed events)
- Governing body and administrative costs
- Playmetrics platform fees
- Referee fees
- Facility rental and maintenance
- Insurance
Not included:
- Uniforms
- Individual player travel expenses
- Coach travel expenses & event registration for qualification events (i.e., MLS Fest, MLS Flex, Nationals).

Select Team Managers
Team Manager Overview
Managers are an integral piece in every team. Managers assist with administrative tasks, most notably assisting with communication between individual teams and Inter Atlanta club coaches/officials, online tasks throughout the season - registering and checking-in teams for tournaments/events, updating scores (when applicable), and some minor game day responsibilities to help keep their team organized and ready to play!
