Inter Atlanta FC Announces Andy Skorupski as President and CEO
Atlanta, GA (February 11, 2026) - Inter Atlanta FC is pleased to announce Andy Skorupski as the new President and Chief Executive Officer of Inter Atlanta FC.
Skorupski joins Inter Atlanta after nine years with Atlanta United, where he held leadership roles in finance and facilities management. He brings extensive experience in organizational operations, long-term planning, and soccer administration. In his new role, he will oversee the club’s business operations and help guide Inter Atlanta through its next phase of growth.
“I’m honored to step into the role of President & CEO of Inter Atlanta and build on the strong foundation that’s already in place,” said Skorupski. “I’m excited to work alongside our families, coaches, staff and community to foster an environment where every player can grow, compete, and thrive.”
Alongside Skorupski’s appointment, Lea Rolfes will join Inter Atlanta as Chief Operating Officer. Rolfes previously served as Executive Director of Girls on the Run Georgia and brings extensive experience in nonprofit leadership, volunteer development, and community programming. John Downey will continue in his role as Chief Soccer Officer, focusing on the player and coaching experience across the club.
The leadership addition comes during a period of strong progress for the club. Recent upgrades at Arizona Ave Soccer Fields include expanded food options, new IAFC merchandise, and ADA compliant sidewalks. The Gratis Play program served more than 80 kids this fall, and the club’s scholarship program has supported more than 75 players through nearly $200,000 in aid. Futsal participation also grew this winter with 471 players, and a $300,000 Georgia 100 Foundation grant funded improvements at Toomer Elementary Fields.
Facility development remains a priority. Glenwood Soccer Park is scheduled to open in Fall 2026 with three lighted full-size fields, and partnerships with Atlanta Public Schools aim to improve existing fields and expand access across the city. The club has also spent the past year gathering feedback from families to refine its mission, vision, and values. Input from more than 400 families will help shape strategic priorities moving forward, including the upcoming transition to grade-level age group structures and community engagement opportunities tied to the 2026 World Cup in Atlanta.
The Board of Directors expressed confidence in the new leadership team and its ability to guide Inter Atlanta into its next chapter. With continued investment in facilities, programming, and community initiatives, the club remains committed to providing a high-quality soccer experience for players and families across Atlanta.
