Program Details
Indoor Rec Soccer is just like our traditional outdoor Rec Program, but completely indoors! It's not futsal, but is similar in the sense that all sessions will be played on a hard court surface.
The program will be coached entirely by parent and community volunteers. We rely on our 50+ coaches to help keep our team sizes manageable and to maximize each child's time touching the ball and playing the game.
If you are interested in volunteering, please do so upon registration! All parent volunteers for Indoor Rec Soccer will receive a free Club OODAZU membership for their family!
- Age Groups Offered: 5U-8U
- Open To: Recreational, Club, and Jr. Blues players
- Location for All Games and Practices: Club OODAZU Decatur
- Practice and Game Length: ~1 hour
Want to play both Indoor and Outdoor Rec or Indoor and Club/Jr. Blues? No problem! Please note that in registration, so we can coordinate practice nights.

What to Wear
Indoor Rec Soccer is played on a hard court surface, similar to a basketball gym or futsal court. Players will need proper indoor footwear to play safely and comfortably.
Footwear
- Indoor soccer shoes (recommended): Flat, non-marking rubber sole — designed for hardwood or gym-style courts.
- Avoid: Cleats (outdoor or turf) — they can damage the floor and make it harder for players to move safely.
- Optional: Sneakers with good grip (if you don’t have indoor shoes yet).
