Inter Atlanta FC Introduces Future Blues, Expanding Access to Soccer Across Atlanta
Atlanta, GA (July 2026) – Inter Atlanta FC is proud to announce the evolution of its Gratis Play program to Future Blues, a free community soccer initiative designed to introduce children ages 5–14 to the game while creating a clear pathway into the club's recreational and competitive programs.
Future Blues brings soccer directly to neighborhoods where organized club soccer is not readily available, serving youth in underserved communities through partnerships with schools, parks, affordable housing communities, and community centers. By offering the program at no cost to families, Inter Atlanta FC helps eliminate transportation and financial barriers that often prevent children from participating in organized sports.

Participants train in a safe, supportive environment under the guidance of licensed Inter Atlanta FC coaches. Beyond learning the game, players develop confidence, teamwork, and healthy habits through the sport.
"Over the past year, we've seen tremendous growth within our Gratis Play program, with many talented young players discovering a genuine passion for the sport and wanting to be a part of this great club," said Yohansé Wyles, Director of Business Development and Community Engagement. "We're excited to take the next step with the launch of Future Blues, expanding our commitment to developing players and creating opportunities for kids all across Atlanta."
The new name reflects the program's purpose of introducing young players to the game while providing a pathway for continued growth within Inter Atlanta FC. Players who demonstrate both a passion and aptitude for soccer have the opportunity to transition into the club's recreational and competitive programs through Inter Atlanta FC's financial aid program, ensuring financial circumstances do not prevent continued participation.
Future Blues represents another step in Inter Atlanta FC's commitment to expanding access to youth sports and creating opportunities for children throughout the Atlanta community. By combining free, community-based programming with long-term player pathways, the club continues its mission of making soccer accessible while helping young people grow both on and off the field.
